I charge $60 per hour for Design Consulting.
This includes: Creating ideas for the entire property around your home which is commonly referred to in the Real Estate World as curb appeal. We can also walk through your home room by room. As you share with me what your vision is, I can help you brainstorm with exciting ideas to help create the look you want to achieve. By simply taking notes and sharing ideas you can pick which projects you want to start working on first. We can make an action plan from here.
Staging 2 Live
What about your home doesn’t work?? Your home should rise up to greet you every day from the minute you wake up to the time you go to bed. Is your home relaxing? Is your home comforting? Is your home energizing? What aspects of your home are missing? More color? Places to read?? Better lighting. Staging to Live means setting the stage in your home for the lifestyle you want to create.
Staging Re-Design
Does your kitchen need an upgrade? Do you need new flooring? Maybe the lighting in your home doesn’t serve you anymore. Does your paint color need a face-lift? Staging Re-Design is Re-thinking what you already have and “freshening” the look to be up-dated, current and in step with the latest design trends that flow with the style of your home.
Furniture Rental
I have my own inventory that I can rent to you for Staging a property. I can also pick out furniture for you from the many Rental companies in the surrounding area.

This is actually shopping for your current needs in any aspect of your home from new draperies to accessorizing to furniture.
Garden & Landscape Consulting
More and more people are using the “Garden Rooms” as an extension to their indoor spaces for entertaining, and dining. I help you create the “outdoor spaces” that echo the style and energy of your indoor spaces so they flow one from the other. Are your pathways to your outdoor entertaining clear? Do the colors match from inside to outside? Does your landscape from inside your home looking out onto your garden entice you to go out and enjoy the great Northwest or make you want to turn around and stay inside. I help you visualize an outdoor garden/landscape that echoes what you want in your outdoor living environment from a new bench or swing to a full patio complete with fire-pit and marshmellows. I’ve also done plant lists and plant placement designs for large gardens as well as re-location planting for gardens whose plants and shrubs have outgrown their spaces.
Color Consulting
My training as a fine artist helps me coordinate colors that compliment each other. Some colors can actually lift your spirits immediately. Do you have colors that seem to “clash” in your home?? Do you want your kitchen brighter?? Do you feel cramped by a dark color in a room? Are your ceilings all white? What are some of your favorite colors that aren’t in your home at all? I have discounts at all the major paint stores in Whatcom County and lots of fan decks full of colors to pick from. I have done professional interior and exterior painting and can help you decide what your next color selection will be. Changing the paint in a room is the easiest and least expensive way to shift the energy to that “feeling” you desire in any given space.
